How do I buy tickets?
If you do not currently subscribe to Constellation, the quickest way to purchase tickets is through our website. If you encounter technical difficulties with our website, please contact us at boxoffice@ConstellationTheatre.org or call us at 202-204-7741 and we will respond to your request as quickly as possible.

Are there senior discounts available?
We do not offer senior discounts at this time.

How do I get my tickets once I’ve purchased them?
Your tickets will be available for pick-up under your name at the theater starting one hour before curtain on the day of the performance.

How do I know if my order was processed?
After you complete your order you will receive a confirmation e-mail (don't forget to check your spam/junk folder). If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, please contact the box office at boxoffice@ConstellationTheatre.org.

I’m a subscriber. How do I reserve my seats?
Please email boxoffice@ConstellationTheatre.org with the number of tickets you purchased, the date(s) and time(s) of the performance(s) you wish to attend, and any special seating accommodations you may require (i.e., wheelchair accessible seating).

Is there wheelchair accessible seating?
Yes. These seats are indicated on the seating chart (blue with a wheelchair symbol).  If these seats are sold, please contact us so that we can make other accommodations for your party.

When should I arrive at the theater?
Please plan to arrive at the theater at least 10 minutes before curtain in order to obtain your tickets and locate your seats. For both actor and patrons safety, we cannot admit latecomers after the show has begun. No refunds or exchanges for latecomers.

How do I get to the theater?
Source is located at 1835 14th Street NW, Washington DC 20009, at the intersection of 14th and T. The U Street Metro is conveniently located just two blocks away (at 13th and U), and there are several bus lines that run nearby (52, 53, 54, 90, 92, 96). For more information, please visit our "directions" page.

Is there parking nearby?
Both metered and residential parking are available in and around the neighborhood, generally with a two-hour time limit. There are several parking garages located near the theater. For more information, please visit our "directions" page.

The performance I want to see is sold out! What can I do?
Please arrive to the theatre up to 1 hour prior to the sold out performance and add your name to the wait list.  Any house or cancelled tickets will be released beginning at 10 minutes prior to curtain to those on the wait list.

Can I exchange my tickets?
Subscribers can exchange tickets to a future performance for free. Please contact Constellation Theatre at least 24 hours in advance. Single tickets may be exchanged within 48 hours of the performance for a $5 per ticket fee plus any upgrade costs. Downgraded performance costs will not be refunded. Missed performances will not be exchanged. Although we will do our best to accommodate your desired performance date, we cannot guarantee tickets if a performance is sold out. Please direct all requests to boxoffice@ConstellationTheatre.org or 202-204-7741 so a member of our staff may assist you.

What if I miss my performance?
If you are a current subscriber, please contact boxoffice@ConstellationTheatre.org. If you are not a subscriber, we cannot offer refunds for missed performances.

What is the difference between Level A, B, & C?
Level A ($45) seats have the best viewing angles and are closest to the stage. Level B ($35) seats are located in the areas adjacent to Level A. Level C ($20) seats are generally in the back row of the theatre.

Why are there additional fees to the advertised ticket prices? Is there a way to waive the fees?
Our ticketing service assigns a $1 - 8 processing fee to each ticket purchased with a credit card. Constellation is unable to waive these fees and they apply to all phone and online sales.  The fees do not apply to tickets purchased at the door with cash or check.

Are the seats assigned?
Yes. You may select your exact seat location if you purchase tickets through our website.

Can I reserve seats and pay at the door?
Sorry, we cannot accept reservations without payment. Please purchase your tickets online or call our box office at (202) 204-7741 to provide your credit card information.

What happens in the event of inclement weather?
The safety of our patrons, casts, and staff is very important to us. While we rarely cancel a performance due to inclement weather, please contact the Box Office at boxoffice@ConstellationTheatre.org or at (202) 204-7741 if you have concerns about your ability to attend. If we make the decision to cancel a performance, we will attempt to contact all ticket holders as soon as the decision is made. Please make sure your email is on file to receive any changes to the performance schedule.

When are your performances?
Please refer to our performance calendar for a complete list of shows for the current season.

What does “PWYC” mean?
PWYC, or “Pay-What-You-Can,” means that you pay what is financially feasible for you to contribute. We suggest a donation of at least $10 for PWYC performances.

Question not answered here?
Please contact us at boxoffice@ConstellationTheatre.org or call us at 202-204-7741 and we will be more than happy to answer any question that you may have.

How will the theatre be setup and why does the seating configuration change?
Constellation Theatre Company performs at Source, a flexible black box theatre. The space is reconfigured depending on the style of the play being presented. Please view our seating charts for our current season here.
