CURRENT JOB OPENINGS:
Development Manager
Constellation Theatre Company is seeking an enthusiastic and strategic fundraiser to become our Development Manager. This individual will work with marketing, patron services, the board of directors, and executive leadership to create, execute, and supervise initiatives and campaigns that will help secure Constellation’s financial stability.

Essential Duties:
Strategic Planning
-
Collaborate with the Artistic Director & Managing Director
-
Lead fundraising campaigns from the original idea phase through final execution
-
Develop institutional language, campaign verbiage, and show blurbs to be used in a wide array of company communications
Fundraising
-
Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with major donors in order to secure leadership gifts
-
Research and cultivate donor prospects and funding opportunities
-
Collaborate on writing and reporting on grants
-
Coordinate mailings for direct appeals, season postcards, and brochures
-
Design and run reports in CRM to target specific segments of donors and patrons
-
Regularly report progress to Executive Leadership and the Board of Directors
Engagement and Communications
-
Organize all Constellation events, including opening nights, donor events, and board meetings
-
Engage with community members at events, performances, and other gatherings
-
Develop and maintain relationships with the Board of Directors
-
Manage and coordinate work with outside services and vendors to meet deadlines of deliverables
-
Oversee public relations
The successful candidate will be:

Candidates for this position will possess:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising

Analytical skills and the ability to offer creative solutions

The ability to properly prepare for and meet deadlines

Experience with CRM systems (PatronManager/Salesforce a plus)

Fundamental computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 annually

Patron Services Coordinator
Constellation Theatre Company is seeking an energetic and organized individual to serve as our. This person will manage and oversee all operations surrounding the experience of our audience members, front-of-house staff, volunteers and supporters. The Patron Services Coordinator is a front-facing member of the team who will engage directly with patrons, FOH staff members, and volunteers.

Essential Duties:
Box Office Management
-
Serve as the primary point of contact for potential and existing patrons
-
Respond to incoming phone calls and email inquiries in a timely and professional manner
-
Process individual ticket sales, subscriber reservations, exchanges, refunds and group sales
-
Complete requests from outside organizations for donated ticket vouchers
-
Recruit, train, and staff Front of House contractors
Event Management
-
Work with the Development Manager to organize all Constellation events, including opening nights, donor events, and board meetings
-
Manage and coordinate work with outside services and vendors to arrange deliverables such as food or other supplies
-
Provide on-site support for all events; supervise set-up and teardown
Volunteer Coordination
-
Serve as the primary point of contact for Constellation’s volunteer list.
-
Recruit volunteers for ushers, mailings, and other community events as needed.
-
Provide on-site support for all events involving volunteers
General Administration
-
Assist with mailings for season postcards, direct appeals, and brochures
-
Maintain accurate marketing archives and database records
-
Collect and process incoming mail
-
Take notes during weekly staff meetings and admin team meetings.
-
Provide administrative assistance as needed.

Candidates for this position will possess:

1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a box office.

Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word and Excel in particular) and Google Apps

Exceptional customer service skills

Passion for and familiarity with theatre

Experience with CRM systems (PatronManager/Salesforce a plus);
-
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

Salary Range: $30,000 - $35,000 annually
